November 20, 2025
HBO announced today that The Chair Company has been renewed for Season 2. The pickup is an early one, coming with two episodes remaining in the comedy's 8-episode debut run.
Since its October premiere, the half-hour series is pacing as the network's top freshman comedy in platform history, with the season averaging 3.3 million (L+3) U.S. cross-platform viewers and growing.
The Chair Company stars co-creator Tim Robinson as William Ronald Trosper, who suffers an embarrassing incident at work, finding himself investigating a far-reaching conspiracy.

I agree about the story taking a while and i am also concerned with a second season renewal if now they have to stretch it even more or will there be another conspiracy.

Hilarious show! Better than anything SNL has put out in the last 20 years. Its brand of humor won’t work for everyone but I think it’s such a funny show with a very interesting character study at its center.

The people who find this show funny are the same people who still think SNL is funny!

For the most part, I love the show, but the end of episode five sucks (chuckling to self - sorry I had to)

"I Think You Should Leave", in long form. S'okay at times, a bit ridiculous at others. The "story" seems to be taking forever though.
