HBO wants more of the Rachel Sennott comedy.
November 20, 2025
HBO announced today that I Love LA has been picked up for a second season. The early renewal comes just three episodes into the comedy's 8-episode freshman run, which is pacing as the network's second top new comedy in platform history with an average of nearly 2 million (L+3) U.S. cross-platform viewers.
The show stars creator Rachel Sennott as Maia, a woman trying to get on the junior manager track at the talent management company she works at. When an old friend, who is now a popular influencer, reappears in her life, Maia's world is turned upside down.

Pure CRAP. Nothing else needs to be said.

It's not horrible.. but I don't think it's good either. Guess I just don't grasp the enthrallment with social media and the unimportant (although presented more light-hearted) "drama" surrounding it. I also suspect it's a typical HBO ploy.. nudity in Episode one.. then never again.
