HBO wants more of the anthology comedy.
January 30, 2026
HBO announced today that It's Florida, Man has been renewed for a third season. The news comes a month after the late-night anthology comedy wrapped its sophomore run.
"Season three is just more proof that Florida remains undefeated – there's no shortage of wild-but-true stories and an incredible cast of actors game enough to bring them to life," said Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials.
"Every time we think the stories can't get any wilder, Florida proves us wrong. We're grateful HBO keeps letting us shine a spotlight on the beautiful madness, and we can't wait to dive back in and celebrate the weird, wonderful spirit of the state," added Danny McBride, executive producer.
Inspired by the Australian series 'True Story with Hamish & Andy,' the series is based on true, bizarre news stories from Florida, featuring real Floridians and actors reenacting outlandish events like alligator attacks or attempts to fund concert tickets with questionable methods.
