No Season 2 for the cooking competition.
March 12, 2026
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled Yes, Chef! after one season. The news comes after the competition series was not included on the network's summer schedule for 2026. Its first season aired between April and June last year.
Hosted by chefs José Andres and Martha Stewart, the show puts 12 highly skilled, yet rebellious, chefs through culinary challenges designed to test and overcome their personal issues. The chef who handles the heat week after week, impressing with both their food and teamwork while improving their behavior, takes home the $250,000 grand prize.

I think "absolutely terrible" was kind. The format was silly. Both judges didn't let the taste or quality of a dish get in the way of their decisions. Constrained by the silly rules, the contestants were unimaginative and uninteresting. And that was on good day..
