No Season 2 for the competition series.
May 11, 2026
Fox won't be bringing The Snake back for a second season. The news comes as the competition series was not part of the network's schedule for the 2026-2027 season, which was unveiled today.
Hosted by Jim Jefferies, the show featured 15 'masters of manipulation' from various persuasive professions who compete in an array of challenges and twists in order to try and become that week's Snake, the most powerful position in the game. This gives them control of The Saving Ceremony, a chain reaction elimination where connections are everything. Every week is a fresh start with a new gauntlet and a new Snake. In the end, only one contestant takes home the $100,000 grand prize.

Jefferies was a good host.. only tolerable thing about the show. The show itself was merely a bad "how can we copy Big Brother without being Big Brother" attempt... like the new Fear Factor House... .Host is decent. show sucks though.

This was a pretty dumb show, but how do you cancel this and keep 5 or 6 Ramsay cooking shows. Makes no sense, but I guess Ramsay has something on the higher ups at Fox.
