'The Four Seasons' Renewed For Season 3

Netflix wants more of the comedy series.

Netflix announced today that The Four Seasons has been renewed for a third season. The news comes two weeks after the comedy released its 8-episode sophomore run.

"It's been a joy watching the chaotic, beautiful journey of these lifelong friends," said Tracey Pakosta, vice president of US comedy series at Netflix. "Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield have a magical way of blending heart and sharp humor, making us feel like part of the inner circle. Audiences have fallen in love with these characters and this legendary cast's electric chemistry. We're thrilled to keep the vacation going for Season 3."

An adaptation of the 1981 big-screen romantic comedy of the same name, the series follows three married couples who head out for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. This development tests their decades-long friendship and complicates their tradition of quarterly weekend getaways.
