No Season 2 for the animated comedy.

Word is out that Kevin has been cancelled by Prime Video after just one season. Coming two months after the animated comedy's release, the news was posted by co-creator and star Aubrey Plaza, who took to Instagram to express her disappointment.
"Amazon Prime is not picking up Kevin for another season," wrote Plaza. "Very disappointing since we were just getting going. I want to say thank you to all the fans that watched our show and all of the incredible cast and crew that worked so hard to make this dream come alive..." Read the full post below.
The series follows a housecat whose human "owners" unexpectedly break up. So he decides to break up with them too. Kevin leaves the home he knows and moves into a local pet rescue in Astoria, Queens, where a band of misfit animals helps him discover what he truly wants out of life.

This had "jokes" but every single character was a 1 sided 1 trick pony, dog, or cat. It was basically the same show every episode. I’m not sad it got the axe, I’m not glad if it got renewed. It won’t effect my life in anyway. It was….

Due to Whoopi Goldberg being in this, it obviously needs to be canceled. The View should be next.

I heard about this in a magazine article about great adult animated shows although maybe since the list also included Strip Law maybe the list should've been about animated shows that will be cancelled.

Sigh. This show was actually really clever and had some great writing. I stumbled upon it without ever hearing any hype so shame on Amazon for the bad promotion. Maybe they'll be picked up somewhere else in the streaming universe.

Never heard of it, and it never popped up on my Amazon Prime lists, but the premise sounds stupid. I like Aubrey Plaza, but it's unsurprising that this got the axe.
