'The Sisters Grimm' Renewed For Season 2

Apple TV's animated series returns in October.

Apple TV announced today that The Sisters Grimm is coming back for a second season on October 2. The animated series is returning one year after the release of its 6-episode freshman run.

Based on Michael Buckley's bestselling book series of the same name, the show follows two orphaned sisters who navigate a town full of people torn straight from fantasy and fairy tales, confronting heroes and villains alike, while investigating the mystery of their missing parents.

In Season 2, one year after their parents' mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue uncovering the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.
