Starting off, the shoe is brilliantly written and I believe the writers and production side deserve all the praise in the world. Casting both senior, junior and new emerging are terrific in their role development. Although having no reflection on Helen Mirren's professional talent, the character could be more subtle in its tactful nature of "mental health/devious nature". Most actors in a role wither look for praise or loathing as a measure of their success in a performance. Pierce and Helen are of the latter and with respect it is a beyond difficult function to br utilized in s production. You either hit the finite precision target or shoot so far outside the kill-zone your driving nails into wood essentially. Pierce does so beautifully walking 3 tightope. Helen shoots the moon making you ultimately lost or despise the character. With every passing episode,/installment you find yourself wishing her character's demis bringing you to questioning your involvement in the series and investment in the character arc. Unless the payoff substantially progresses the storytelling, her utilization is grimly unnecessary at nest.


As for season 3 renewal, its a dilemma, that's classic cart beforec5hd horse scenario . With season 2 not premiering until late September 2025, a season 3cis presumptive, rushed and irresponsible to say the least With so many unknown factors. Slated to have Hardy return in season 3, which without would kill the shoe.

It is a murky future at nest, but wish them the best. Mirren makes watching erratically uncomfortable and only time will tell if the storyline is worthwhile. Not unlike Beth from Yellowstone, you despise the character with no redeeming qualities because you don't love to hate her, you simply tune in to watch her hope of destruction. Which is not a good premise to proceed watching because it you can silly tune out to eliminate the lackluster uncomfortable nature or events as they unfold.

Hardy was brought back to finish up Season 2. Whatever happened why he walked away, was reinstated to finish Season 2. So he’ll also be there for Season 3 as well.

What I heard was he was fired after season 2, so it's likely he won't be in the 3rd. I hope he comes back. It was the main reason I watched it.

@David No he's still in the cast. I think earlier this year he was suspected to have left due to friction behind the scenes. But that was later walked back as far as I remember

I thought Tom Hardy was gone for season 3?
