No Season 2 for the crime drama.
September 12, 2026
It is being reported by Deadline that M.I.A. has been cancelled by Peacock after just one season. The news comes four months after the crime drama released its 9-episode freshman run on the streaming service.
The series follows Florida Keys resident Etta Tiger Jonze, who dreams of a life in Miami's glittering, sub-tropical kingdom. When her family's drug-running business shatters in tragedy, Etta embarks on a dangerous journey through Miami's neon-lit underbelly that will define who she is and what she's ultimately capable of.

If they hadn't premiered the first episode to get you to like it and then say to watch the rest of the season subscribe to Peacock. Nope sorry glad it got cancelled.

Another show with a storyline that is meant for a movie a bad one especially with these actors not a tv show. How long can you drag a show like this on for multiple seasons and how to bring it to an end.
