Peacock announced today that Ted: The Animated Series will premiere on December 17. It has been over a year since the show was announced as a follow-up to the 'Ted' films, with the original stars returning to voice their roles.
Set 12 years after the conclusion of the last movie, the show follows John and his thunder-buddy Ted, who are now neighbors with families of their own and dead-end jobs. These two lovable stoners enable each other's bad ideas about marriage, parenting, and the challenges of adult life.
The series will release its first 8 episodes at launch, with additional episodes streaming in 2027.
