Paramount+ orders two more seasons of the animated series.
October 9, 2026
At New York Comic-Con today, Paramount+ announced that Avatar: Seven Havens has been renewed for two additional seasons, which will take it to at least Book 4. The animated series launched on the streaming service today with a second season order already under its belt.
Set in the world of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender,' where the world has been shattered by a devastating cataclysm, a young Earthbender discovers she's the new Avatar after Korra. In this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization's last strongholds collapse.

I'll be surprised if they reverse this decision.

The art style of this follows the MANHWA style, the Korean animation style. Its counterpart is the Manga style, the Japanese animation.
I guess this is for the newer generation of viewers who are already more familiar with the style. Not for me. But, I'm to keep watching if story can compensate for that creative choice.

Tried the first ep... nope... the style of animation compositing is not something I like. Trying too much to be like live action and comes across STRONGLY like dubbed audio due to less than ideal voice work. I realize all animation is "dubbed". I think it may come down to audio which is then animated, or animation which is then dubbed. This one just feels like it was all drawn with care, then the voice actors were dubbed in and with MUCH less care.
