A thriller taking place in real time following a US government agent's fight against terrorism.
Jack Bauer works for the Counter Terrorist Unit, or CTU, helping to keep the United States safe from ongoing terrorist threats. He will use any means necessary in order to stop the enemy, putting his own life on the line for the sake of his country.
Each episode portrays one hour of real time over the course of the season, which amounts to one full 24 hour day. Known for its exciting storylines, the show uses unexpected double crosses and plot twists to reveal who the real villains are.

Freakin best show on TV for the longest time. I have all 9 yrs on dvd and watch a new years when I'm on vacation. It was getting harder to find another idea for the next year, but I enjoyed them very much. Finished watching Touch and what a difference Keifer plays in this show. Bring back 24 for one more year.

AGAIN ANOTHER CANCELATION BY FOX. IS IT BECAUSE AS A YEAR GOES BY SALERIES GO UP SO THEY SAY OPPS TIME TO CANCEL?????? THESE REALITY SHOWS ARE NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE TO WATCH. THE MESSAGE THEY SEND OUR YOUNGER PEOPLE SEEMS TO BE YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT AND IT IS OK. THEY HAVE IT ON REALITY SHOWS SO IT MUST BE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE. I CAN REMEMBER AS A YOUNG BOY NOT YET 11 YEARS OLD A FRIEND OF OUR FAMILY GOT DIVORCED AND MY PARENTS TOLD ME THAT BOTH THE MAN AND WOMEN WERE NO LONGER OUR FRIENDS BECAUSE IT WAS NOT SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE TO GET DIVORCED. NOW HAVE A AFFAIR, CHEAT ON EACH OTHER DO DRUGS, LIE TO EACH OTHER IT IS OK BECAUSE THE REALITY SHOW IS SHOWING IT IS ACCEPTABLE. OUR SOCIETY IS GOING DOWN THE TOILET. LETS START IMPROVING LIFE BY KEEPING GOOD SHOWS ON AND GETTING RID OF THE TRASH. AGAIN "JUST SAYING"
