A dramedy following a former high school "queen bee" who returns to Dallas in hopes of a fresh start.
Amanda was one of the popular mean girls in high school back in Plano, Texas. Now broke and a recently widowed mother of two, the former queen bee returns to her hometown suburb of Dallas looking for a fresh start - but finds out it may not be as easy as it seems.

I hate ABC for getting me hooked on a show and taken it away, ABC executives need to be fired, they do not know what they are doing, cancelling GCB is a BIG mistake

One of the best shows on t.v in a long time. I looked forward to it every week. Great writing and even better acting. Every character was so likable!!!! What was ABC thinking????? They screwed up cancelling this one. It just may of needed some time to take off. Patience my corporate friend. Not everything is about a quick buck.

This is the one show I watch on ABC besides The View! Pick another day when the competition isn't so fierce....what about Wed or Fri nights? Come on ABC you may need to reconsider, and give them another season to prove themselves.

There's a campaign to save the show (petition) at www.savegcb.com . 52,000 plus signatures so far. There are others, too, that boost the whole petition signatures to around 100 thousand! If you're so inclined, go sign it!

I just was looking on this website expecting for them to say that GCB got renewed, and then I find out it's cancelled?!? what the what? this show is really good they should try putting it on another night, maybe that could help with ratings, this show is really funny and just good fun to watch. I always look forward to monday mornings when I watch it on demand.. if they needed more ratings then I will watch it on sunday nights when it airs... I'm so sad
