A dramedy following a former high school "queen bee" who returns to Dallas in hopes of a fresh start.
Amanda was one of the popular mean girls in high school back in Plano, Texas. Now broke and a recently widowed mother of two, the former queen bee returns to her hometown suburb of Dallas looking for a fresh start - but finds out it may not be as easy as it seems.

how could you take such a funny and witty show away.... just to be replaced by a new reality show ! reality shows are old and tired and need to stop. when will folks finally wake up and come back to some shows worth watching. this cancel thing with good shows needs to stop.

Wish the show had been better, good idea just not that funny..if it had been that popular they would not have canned it after one season, so I guess all the people writing were the only ones to watch it...ABC moves on.

Show is really funny. Comedy with some redeeming story lines. Keep it on the air! A second season could only get better.
