A dramedy following a former high school "queen bee" who returns to Dallas in hopes of a fresh start.
Amanda was one of the popular mean girls in high school back in Plano, Texas. Now broke and a recently widowed mother of two, the former queen bee returns to her hometown suburb of Dallas looking for a fresh start - but finds out it may not be as easy as it seems.

Wow I'm really starting to HATE ABC they are worse than any other network I start to love a show then they rip it off air!!!! Dang it! Just like Pan Am. I tierd of it! Put GCB back on

WHAT I LOVED GCB i cant believe this Network you always look at the ratings but cant you at least look this once and just have a heart and care about the people who did watch the show now im HEART BROKEN

Well the religious right has chimmed in again. Why are they not crusading to cancel out the bitchy wives of who really cares and other brainless reality garbage out there ( that really promote bad behavioral choices). All of these "low cost to produce entertainment" shows are beyond insulting to the rest of us who demand a better source of commical entertainment.I matter just as much as any church going american and all I can say is thank god for Fraiser reruns as well as the rest of tv shows from the past when we were laughing at and with each other. I my opinion ABC stands for " A Bad Choice " station. Sell GCB to another station but don't let this gem be silenced.

I loved this show and am irritated that it was taken off. There will always be critics and those who get mad because it's "judging" them but there are a lot of people who liked this show!!

This was one of the funniest most entertaining shows on tv! I've set back and watched many of my favorite shows get canceled and not said or done a damned thing about it. But this time I can't do that! I've never written in or voiced my opinion. Please bring this show back. It was not only entertaining but had some of the best actors and actressess out there today!! Leslie Bibb and Christine Chenoweth are amazing? I've liked Leslie since I first saw her in Popular. A show produced by Ryan Murhphy where they canceled it and left all of us hanging and wondering whether her character was killed or not? To all of us who enjoyed this show please write or callor whatever you can do! Get your friends and family everyone to do it!!!

It is very unfortunate if this show is cancelled, one of the few shows that realistically portrays the lifestyle of many faith-based Americans, a part of their lives they would rather keep hidden.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im from dallas im christian and i loved this show... people are just mad that a lot of the she stuff they touched on is true... hell i know plano women and thats how they are period!!!!!!!!!!!!! i related to the main charictar... loved the show bring it back or i will boycott this station i get my hart broken every year they cancel a good show!!!!! last the year before it was 2 great shows...
