A drama following an FBI agent tracking a network of serial killers.
Joe Carroll is a former college professor who became infamous for teaching the works of Edgar Allan Poe and killing young women in his honor. Now behind bars, Carroll spends his time in the prison library building a social network of copycats who worship him and do his bidding.
FBI agent Ryan Hardy was the man who first brought Joe Carroll to justice, and is now called upon again to consult on the ongoing case.

Site says show is renewed but Fox promo this week does not refer to seasons ending but rather says. FINAL TWO EPISODES. anyone know whats up.

For those who think this show is too violent, maybe you shouldn't be watching a show about a serial killer... For those who think this is far-fetched, you may need to do some research. There are actual cult followings and large fan bases for many jailed killers. In fact, Charles Manson has a very large following that acts on his behalf. If you read any factual accounts or books about interactions with these people, you will see how plausible this is. You never know how crazy your neighbor is...

I like this show and think it's better than some others, but the show is just so violent and demented. If this show didn't have the twists I would stop watching. The is too much violence. Show has the ratings, so probably make to second season, but highly doubt a third.

I like the show... there always seems to be a twist i didn't see coming...tho alot i do. I do really like the cast as well... there is always a bit of silliness to some of the episodes but i take it for what it is entertaining...

Liked it in the beginning.Turned off the 5th episode. Actually live in Dutchess County. It's a Sheriff's Dept.,Poughkeepsie PD has no helicopters,SWAT teams in that area would not have taken an hour.State,county and locals have several SWAT team members. Not to mention she gets out of surrounded house w/kid and two guys got pass secure area w/no problem.And another cop happens to be a member of his cult.

I loved the pilot and the next few episodes but I stopped watching it because it got too silly and old. Same storyline over and over and there's always a new twist that really isn't a twist and it makes it hard to watch. Not to mention, the way the started the season and the storyline, this show can't go more then 2 seasons TOPS. Reminds me of Last resort in that sense.

I love Kevin Bacon, but I hate this show! Being a Richmonder, I was curious about the references, but then it became the only reason I was watching. Not worth it. During these times, don't we have enough senseless violence in the schools, movie theatres, churches just because someone thought that death and suicide needed to be glorified and they "wanted their lives to mean something?" Horrible. Give Kevin another show, please. Give him a show that will truly "lives meaning something".

As much as i was cheering for this show to be really good,it has become so silly and far fetched.There is always something that keeps these cops looking like bumbling fools.But the ratings are talking so it gets renewed.
