A drama about a space vessel carrying predatory life forms that crash-lands on a futuristic Earth.

In the year 2120, the Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) exist alongside humans.

But things change when the wunderkind Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unlocks a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype named "Wendy" marks a new dawn in the race for immortality.

After Weyland-Yutani's spaceship collides into Prodigy City, "Wendy" and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined.

I'm always hesitant about watching a new show, especially one of this genre. They always seemed to get canceled. The first 2 Alien movies are 2 of my all time favorites, so maybe I was predesposed to like this show and I did. I really hope it gets picked up for at least a second season.

Well, now I sure hope they bring this back for a season 2! Left us kind of hanging there with the season finale. Disappointed that such a great intense show kind of wimped out on the final episode.

Having seen all the Alien movies and all their spin-offs....good and bad.., I had my doubts about this show. But I am thoroughly surprised. Love the character buildup, the storylines and the special effects. Some really great "critters" being added to the Alien world is a nice touch. I am hoping that this gets renewed, but I'm guessing it's very expensive to make.

I’m not sure what to make of Gary’s nonsensical word salad. I don’t even understand his comments when it comes to special effects because they were quite good. It’s anybody’s guess whether the show gets picked up again. I think the biggest problem is there are so many iterations of this franchise that there aren’t really any surprises anymore.

I like Sydney Chandler's character. So far through E4, the story is moving too slowly for me. Also, I'm not a big "Alien" movie/show fan. I'll watch the remaining 4 episodes, for now.

For an example of a movie (not a series) which had good pacing was Alitta Battle Angel, which also dealt with an android/synth person.

I agree with Ellen... one season only, the acting will be suspect along with more than likely poor special effects, and even if it turns out a great show the producers will not know were to take a second season.

I give this show one season and then, it’s cancelled.
