A limited thriller about a school for troubled teens that harbors sinister secrets.
When police officer Alex Dempsey and his pregnant wife Laura move into their new home in the town of Tall Pines, he connects with two students from the local school for "troubled teens" who are desperate to escape and could be the key to unearthing sinister secrets in the town.

Growing up in the 70's I remember some of the more infamous cults, yes this had a touch of wokeness I knew going in it was written and produced by an individual undergoing her own transformation but it really did not take away from the cult story line. I wish they had stretched it out a few more episodes and gone a little more in-depth to some of the cults methods. I Enjoyed it enough to mark it liked but not loved. Whether Wayward is worth watching depends on your tolerance for an open-ended, sometimes confusing story due to its ambiguous and abrupt ending, making it feel incomplete.

Nice series, but it's a shame that it's too WOKE. Otherwise, the series is enjoyable, but it's a pity that it's only one season.

Nothing to do with Wayward Pines. Absolutely WOKE garbage. Used the title and town name to sucker people into watching it, who never would have given it a thought.
