MTV has renewed "The Real World" for two more seasons - its 27th and 28th. The series is the network's longest-running program in history and next year will have been on the air for a full two decades.
Currently in the midst of its 25th season, the show is known as one of the original reality programs on television. Originally premiering in 1992 based in New York, The Real World has gone on to take place in cities all over the world including San Francisco, London, Paris, and Cancun. The current season is set in Las Vegas, which has the cast living at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino as they get to know each other better in sin city.
