MTV has renewed The Real World for a 29th season. The series, which has been on the air for over two decades, is the network's longest-running program in its history.
For Season 29, which will air in 2014, the show will return to San Fransisco 20 years after its first stop in the city.

This is the best show! Sure, the EX_plosion was a bad choice, but the traditional format could be replicated twice a year for decades to come. It the best reality TV show. Barely ahead of Survivor! Why would they ever stop doing the Real World? MTV doesn't have that many good shows, much less a staple like the Real World. Don't go NBC and cancel everything.

Absolutely still love the youth and energy of the show. Surprisingly still pretty good.
The odd season, you will get a reserved, conservative cast... But more times than not - It is still a classic, original reality show... that pretty much everyone has carbon copied.

Wow. Shocked this is still on. Should have killed this show 15 years ago. Or at least changed the name to something like" anything but real world"
