ABC is probably pleased with how its new series Body of Proof is performing early in its run. The midseason replacement premiered on March 29, and after four episodes has been competing formidably with its 10:00pm Tuesday competition - Parenthood and The Good Wife.

Not counting the premiere (which for most shows draws higher than normal interest) and the second episode that aired on a special night, Body of Proof has been beating both aforementioned shows for the past two weeks. Last night's episode earned a 2.5 in adults 18-49 vs a 2.1 for Parenthood and a 2.0 for The Good Wife. It even beat its own number from last week (2.4).

It's still early, but Body of Proof looks like it could be sticking around for some time. If its ratings hold up for the rest of the season, which wraps up in May - a second season renewal should be a no-brainer.
