As expected, the superhero drama will not return.

ABC has cancelled No Ordinary Family along with six of its other shows in a barrage of moves by the network today. Also gone are Brothers & Sisters, V, Off the Map, Better With You, Mr. Sunshine, and Detroit 1-8-7.
The writing has been on the wall for quite some time regarding the superhero drama. After failing to impress in the ratings early in its run, the network cut No Ordinary Family's freshman season short in February, and even preempted its second-last new episode, only to air it on a Saturday with no promotion.
The final nail in the coffin came when its two lead stars signed on to new fall pilot shows on another network. Michael Chiklis booked a role on a new CBS comedy pilot called Vince Uncensored, while co-star Julie Benz joined an untitled CBS supernatural medical drama. The cast also took to Twitter after filming wrapped to say their final goodbyes.

I really liked that show one of my favorites. I can not believe that they cancelled it. I AM REALLY ANGRY. never going to know what the friends power is, how the baby survived, how the FBI know about them. I recorded it and was not part of any poll. why do the cancel all the good shows and leave a lot of stupid ones. what I've noticed is that they cancel mainly fantasy and scifi show. but not the stupid one that you could see in real life. they REALLY REALLY NEED TO BRING IT BACK PLEASE.

I am soooooo madd my whole family watches it but we record it and watch later and use on demand sometimes, they need to include this in the polls, why dont they send out a poll and find out the real numers, the problem with commercials now days no one watches them cause the fast forward them and that is partly why more people record, plus sometimes there are more than one show on at a time that someone may like. Dont go cancelling until you have all your data, I swear everytime a good show comes on it is cancelled, why?????? Seriously........ Please Please Do Not cancel, plus it is hard to advertise in commercials now days cause the only time we watch em are at the movies.

something told me they canceled this when i saw julie benz on the gifted man that right there. i said damn they canceled no ordinary family i liked that show n was hoping for another season because the ending of the last when the friend got powers 2 along with those inmates on that plane. abc what is ur problem why u keep canceling shows and keep the stupid ones

I can't believe that they cancelled the show. That was my favorite show. My wife and I would record all of the episodes and watch it after we put the kids to bed. That was a stupid move to take it off of the air. They need to bring it back..........

first of all why all qualty show cancel, kyle xy,heroes,v now this many stupid program contiune dr who ,Misfits etc .. no ordinary fam. is very nice movie , i really enjoy this show love it. please make a poll than deside ....

i love this show my whole family does, unfortunately with 7 people living in one house we always ended up recording it on the PVR. they clearly dont factor in the number of people who have PVR's, and very little time to watch tv when their shows are actually on so many people have to record shows on their PVR's, because of work or being out of town. they need to take into account those who record shows onto PVR's into their ratings. PLEASE BRING IT BACK

I really loved that show, I was looking forward to see season 2 the endding on the first season quept me on the edge all summer. This sucks really bad :( please bring it back! next time please ask the peoples to do a poll before and from there you will have your answers.

I CANT BELIVE NO ORDINARY FAMILY IS CANCELLED!!!!! My whole family LOVED that show!!!!!!!!! I Never was asked to do a poll!! IM SO ANGRY!!!!!!!!! We were REALLY looking forword to season 2!!!!!!!!!! I really enjoyed this show and was looking forward to season 2. I'm disappointed to hear this news. I know quite a few people who watch this show...apparently, none of us were included in the ratings poll. :(
