The freshman legal drama has been renewed for a second season.
May 16, 2011
NBC has renewed freshman series Harry's Law for a second season. The drama, which aired its first-season finale April 4 after a 12 episode run, stars Kathy Bates as a Cincinnati lawyer who runs her practice out of an old shoe store.
Harry's Law premiered as a mid-season replacement in January airing Monday nights at 10:00pm. It rated lower than its competition in that time slot, averaging a 1.9 in the adults 18-49 demographic, but NBC was obviously comfortable enough with that number to bring it back for another season.

I saw where Hulu picked up the cancelled soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live...Maybe just maybe Hulu and Netflix will be the saving grace for GREAT shows like Harry's Law.

Cancelling this show sucks! I loved this show. I am SO bummed. All of the actors were terrific. Kathy Bates, OMG
the best. I have always loved her and followed her career. The writers of this program were excellent. The show dealt with current topics and raised thought provoking issues and told the truth about the legal system in this country.
Christopher McDonald in his part. BIG MISTAKE on NBC part.
What a bunch of losers the executives are. Shame on all of them.

I made the mistake of saying (out loud) that I really like this show. The big execs heard me and wielded the ax. I'm sorry! could someone bring it back?

You can't cancel this show. I am so sick of the reality shows and the half dozen NCIS. This show deals with today's issues. The cast is great, the show well written. Give it a chance with successful shows and stop moving it around. All my friends love this show. It would be a mistake to cancel one of the best shows on TV.

It never fails................I find a great show that I absolutely love and some one takes it off the air.
I watched All My Children for 40 years and they took it off.
I liked the truthfulness that was brought out on Harry's Law.
