The freshman legal drama has been renewed for a second season.

NBC has renewed freshman series Harry's Law for a second season. The drama, which aired its first-season finale April 4 after a 12 episode run, stars Kathy Bates as a Cincinnati lawyer who runs her practice out of an old shoe store.
Harry's Law premiered as a mid-season replacement in January airing Monday nights at 10:00pm. It rated lower than its competition in that time slot, averaging a 1.9 in the adults 18-49 demographic, but NBC was obviously comfortable enough with that number to bring it back for another season.

I, like so many others, LOVE this show. What a treat to watch something enjoyable rather than all those reality shows.

My husband and I truly enjoyed this show and couldn't wait every week until the next episode. We were so disappointed when it was occassionaly bumped for another show, a special broadcast, etc. Kathy Bates playing the main character - couldn't have made a better choice. I hope that the rumor about it's being cancelled is just that - a rumor. The plots are great, the acting super. What a fantastic show. Keep it coming!

I love Harry's Law . PLEASE DON'T CANCEL IT. I have even got my boyfriend into it we love sitting and watching it , after a hard day , i did enjoy it where it was but to get to watch it again any where will work THANK YOU , PLEASE BRING IT BACK , PLEASE ,

as some have noted already, i like the 1st season with its unique characters and premise. this re-vamped 2nd season lost the charm. i did enjoy ally mcbeal and boston legal, but i didn't want another exact copycat.

Harry's Law is the only program that doesn't insult your intelligence. I look forward to seeing it each week. Have really missed it recently when I couldn't find it.

My husband and I look forward to the weekly Harry's Law...we haven't missed one episode! It's the highlight of our work week. Kathy Bates is an exceptional actress while at the same time "real." Our only disappointment was over the Holidays when it was bumped for specials (forgiveable). What is not forgiveable is the disturbing rumor that the show will be canceled. Please say it isn't so!

This was a good show, funny and well executed by the actors - one show that was so comfortable to watch
