TV Land has picked up the freshman comedy for 12 new episodes.

TV Land has announced that Happily Divorced has been renewed for a second season of 12 new episodes. The pickup comes just five episodes into the show's first season, which premiered last month.
"We are thrilled that our viewers have embraced ‘Happily Divorced’ just like they did with ‘Hot In Cleveland,’" said network president Larry W. Jones in a press release. "It's fantastic that we get to keep working with Fran, this amazing cast and all of the talented writers on another season."
Happily Divorced is TV Land's third original scripted series, after Hot in Cleveland and Retired at 35. It stars and is co-written by Fran Drescher, who plays a florist moving on with her life after finding out her husband of 18 years is gay.

My husband and I are Big Fans of Happily Divorced and we have been waiting all of this time for TVLand to start up a new season , us not knowing that it has been CANCELLED ?? WHAT ?! I CAN THINK OF A LOT OF OTHER SHOWS THAT SHOULD BE AXED INSTEAD OF THIS ONE . I have always been a real fan of Fran since the Nanny . I have even been in the audience of her talk show . Please bring Happily Divorced back . Especially now , when we could use a little laughter in our stressful daily lives . This would give us something to look forward to and it would be nice to settle in after a long day and laugh before we go to bed .

My husband and I only watch very FEW shows on TV. We thoroughly enjoy Happily Divorced...and the real tragedy was losing Harry's Law. That was devastating! What are you guys trying to achieve over there when all the good shows are getting cancelled...and all the reality TV junk just keeps flowing. Never watch that stuff...never will.

would TV Land consider picking up ABC's Missing with Ashley Judd. Really those idiots at ABC have no clue what's good. You might want to consider Harry's Law as well. Thank you
