ABC Family will not be bringing back the freshman sitcom.

Over the past couple of days ABC Family has been adjusting their line-up, which means good news for some shows and bad news for others. Unfortunately for State of Georgia, things look to fall into the latter category, as reports are that the network has cancelled the series. Also cancelled just yesterday was The Nine Lives of Chloe King. Both shows end after one season on the air.
State of Georgia premiered on June 29 of this year and ran for 12 episodes, ending on August 17. The series pulled in less-than-stellar ratings over its duration, averaging less than half that of star Raven-Symone's previous series, That's So Raven.

Sooo sad that this shows not on anymore. It really is a hilarious show. I hate all of the other abc family shows, this one was the only REAL one worth watching. Jo and Georgia are a hilarious bff duo, and I loved aunt honey. ANOTHER NETWORK PLLLLLEEEEASSE PICK THIS SHOW UP IF ABC WONT!

BRING IT BACK! I WAS WAITING AND WAITING AND WAAAAAITING FOR A SECOND SEASON! BUUUUT IT NEVER CAME! PEOPLE LOVED THAT SHOW! OR AT LEAST DO ANOTHER SHOW WITH RAVEN IN IT!

I heard of it last summer but never was able to catch it due to my work schedule. I Finally was reminded of it on Netflix last night and was excited to find out if they renewed another season. I am sad :'( this show turned out to be awesomely funny! Maybe a new network could pick it up? It had a great URBAN BIG BANG THEORY thing going on, and the character "SETH" looks like an Eastern Indian Enrique Iglesias! haha

I think they cancelled it beccause they wanted to bring back Thats so Raven. But in a diffrent way. I think she should get a show but not a broadway type show. Like a spin off of Thats so Raven

BRING BACK THE SHOW!!! All of ABC Family's shows aren't even family oriented are just of bunch of over-dramatic fluff!!! ABC didn't do a great job of promoting the show to begin with! No wonder it didn't do well but it's sad because Loretta Devine and Raven make a kickass crew! Shame on ABC for being so damn stupid!

well it look like the shows back all new episodes and even singers and rapers about to guess star. I hope it don't change too much because the show was really funny in season one can't wait to see season 2.

I agree just watched this show on netflix and its ball busting hilarious while also giving folks a small lesson in life. And it reminds me of my bestie and I :) plus raven looked so good. I loved the fashion style and loretta divine was too crazy, I loved her sharp bits of wisdom and how wild and sexual while still maintaining a lady-like air. It should be brought back for more seasons to come.
