The Showtime reality series will return for a nine-episode third season.

Showtime has renewed reality series The Real L Word for a third season. Nine new episodes have been ordered, with production set to begin in early 2012.
Season 3 of The Real L Word will branch off of its regular Los Angeles-based lesbian community format and will also follow a new group of women in New York City.
