ABC has pulled the freshman comedy from its schedule.
December 8, 2011
It looks as if Man Up's run is up on ABC, as the freshman sitcom has been pulled from the network's schedule before getting a chance to air all of its produced episodes. The struggling series was already in bad shape after being left off of ABC's midseason schedule, but today's news removes any doubt of it continuing.
With Man Up being pulled sooner than planned, repeats of Tim Allen's latest laugher Last Man Standing will air in its place for the rest of the year. New comedy Work It will air in the Tuesday 8:30pm time slot starting January 3.

can't believe it's gone! i agree with every post on this matter... it was funny, original, clean comedy, something i could watch with my kids without having to cover their eyes or change the channel. hope it's at least released on dvd. so now what, senseless, superficial reality shows? no thanks....

I can't believe they cancelled this show. Me and my husband both loved it. There are so many awful shows out there now and there is a good one and they cancel it. The new Work it show is AWFUL I can't believe they got ride of Man up and put work it on. I went to the ABC website and let them know what I thought everyone else should do the same.

I posted a comment on ABC's site. If you are pissed that the show is gone, let 'em know. Here's the link: http://abc.go.com/site/contact-us . P.S. Work It is sucking right now...

This is disappointing. Man Up was my favorite new sitcom this year. I don’t get it; it had good writing, good acting and genuinely funny situations. I never seemed to be able to could catch it as it aired though(the time slot didn’t agree with my schedule), but I was sure to catch it on dishonline(dot)com every week. Dishonline is the free streaming site set up by DISH Network, whom I’ve been a long time subscriber of, and more recently became employed by. The site has a ton of great content and has become my go-to location to catch up whenever I miss a show, and since even non-subscribers can enjoy a lot of the programming, I definitely recommend checking it out. Hopefully ABC will reconsider and renew the show.

I cannot believe they cancelled Man UP!!! That was one of the few sit-coms that my husband & I enjoyed watching together!!! It was HILARIOUS!!! What is wrong with this Network? You can't air a show like that - get people hooked - then just pull the plug!!! BOO!!!!!

Ending this show is exactly why ABC will never beat out CBS on primetime! They are so out of touch with the public. This was, by far one of the funniest shows of all time! I truly hope they reconsider this horrible decision!

I loved this show! Watched every episode. My wife and i wouldn't miss it! So sad since it was just a laugh riot! How could they cancel it, it deserved a chance and more than just one season. Why didn't they play the last 5 episodes... those are great too. I hope i can at least get them on dvd. So disappointing. ABC needs to get a clue. Please bring it back!!!!!

Besides sports, this show was the only reason i watched prime-time t.v. It was original, had great writing & fresh new faces, not the usual old hack faces like Tim Allen that constantly get new shows over the years. Way to stick with the boring old mold & satisfy the people that like watching the same old storylines & faces rehashed. I hope the whole Man Up series gets released on DVD at least, cause I'm done watching ABC again...
