The new drama ends after 13 episodes.
May 9, 2012
Fox has cancelled freshman drama The Finder, which will air its final episode this Friday, May 11. The series premiered in January as a mid-season replacement on Thursday nights at 9:00pm. After unimpressive ratings over its first seven airings, the network moved the show to Fridays to burn off its remaining six produced episodes.
Also cancelled by Fox today was freshman series Alcatraz.

Once again, in keeping with all my previous posts about good shows being canceled,
NETWORK EXECUTIVES ARE F@#$%^* MORONS.
Please feel free to place all the reality shows and other such ilk where the sun don't shine. Contrary to popular belief most of us do have normal IQ's and decent attention spans.

The problem with Fox is that they're out for the ratings because ratings means money. They've cancelled so many good shows that I hesitate to watch anything new that they bring out. The X-Files wouldn't have stood a chance on Fox today because it's all about the almighty dollar! FOX: Forget or Exterminate!

Liked the show but felt it was more a USA network kind of show, quirky mystery/comedy.

Good luck to anyone holding out this show gets picked up by another network. Why would another network pick up a show that was hardly watched. I thought this show was good, however FOX do their business is beyond me, but no cancelled FOX show ever gets picked up by another network, it reality it doesnt happen often at all. A show gets pretty much one chance, fair or not thats in the air. FOX however really is hard to watch because chances are anything you like will get axed.

Fox has become a BIG waste of a channel,no-one there seems to have a clue of what is good and what is bad.I hope USA,TBS or TNT will pick up the Finder and show fox what a group of morons they really are.

I'm done with FOX. I am now removing every FOX show I have on my TIVO & will never watch another new show on the channel. They don't give their shows a real chance to catch on. Goodbye FOX!

This show was pretty good and I don't know why they cancelled it. To replace it with what? Another show that will get the axe after 10 episodes. Seinfeld wasn't a huge hit out of the gate, either. It took time to build an audience. Can you give your shows a chance, Fox? This is why I save things up on DVR and don't watch them right away. If the show makes it, I watch. If it gets cancelled out of the blue, I delete it. No more wasting time watching doomed shows. Boo to Fox!
