The new drama ends after 13 episodes.
May 9, 2012
Fox has cancelled freshman drama The Finder, which will air its final episode this Friday, May 11. The series premiered in January as a mid-season replacement on Thursday nights at 9:00pm. After unimpressive ratings over its first seven airings, the network moved the show to Fridays to burn off its remaining six produced episodes.
Also cancelled by Fox today was freshman series Alcatraz.

It's too bad the writers of "The Finder" had to make the Walter Sherman character so eccentric. The books (Richard Greener "Locator Series), while not stellar, were much better. I like the personality that Geoff Stults brought to the character, but those bizarre "contraptions" that they had Walter Sherman set up to solve the case were beyond weird. I think the books could make great movies.

Really? Every fall I glance through the review for pilots and pick about 10-15 to try out for at least one episode. After that I limit it down to a few more. Regardless of what they come out with, I'm done with including FOX in my system. I'm sick of them canceling good shows that could grow steadily from season to season.

Thank goodness! This show was god awful from the second they tried to introduce it through Bones. Hopefully we can all just move on and forget this garbage ever existed. (Though the one merged episode will forever live on in our Bones season Dvds.)

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this show. Geoff Stults is brilliant in this role. The characters are well developed and the relationships have only just started to shine through. I'm very sad that this show is being cancelled. Maybe it will go to another network?

The show had its moments but I could see from the begining it probably was not going to bring in enough viuers to keep it. I always hate to see the actors and staff lose a job especially in this market, security is hard to find very scary. I wish the best for all involved in this series, I hope you all get hired on another new and hopfully sucessful show.
