NBC will not be renewing the Kathy Bates legal drama.
May 11, 2012
NBC has cancelled Harry's Law after two seasons on the air. The modestly-rated legal drama has long been considered on-the-bubble for earning a renewal past two seasons.
The show will end after a total of 34 episodes over two seasons. Its now-series finale will air on May 20, 2012.

How can NBC possibly cancel Harry's Law? It is by far the most intelligent show on network TV. The writing was excellent, the characters finely drawn and the subject matter important and interesting. What are we left with? I hope NBC changes its mind!!!!!

What were they thinking to cancel Harry's Law. It is a great show. We need more shows like Harry's Law and Body of Proof and less and less Reality TV. I want to see shows that entertain. This show deserves to be on the air.

What it shows is the dumbing down of America. The networks want to slam us with mindless reality garbage. Does it surprise anyone that NBC prime time programming is where it s?

i am enraged by the cancellation of harry law. this network has nothing to offer and this was the best show they have had for years. it saddens me to think they got a winner and cancelled it. i will never watch that network again, ever.

As a 4o' something, I am really dissapointed to see that this show is cancelled. There are only so many reality shows that we can take!!!! This was a very interesting show. How are they getting their ratings. Nielson's send me a rating box!!!!

Oye! I know so many people who watch and love this show! How can it be on the "bubble"?? I recently saw an interview with Kathy Bates and she said that the fans should not worry because they will be back! So, what happened?? It seems like all the good shows are being canceled and the not so good shows are renewed! The other day we cleaned out our season shows list on our TVO...and we are losing 1/2 of the shows we record! Maybe we could join together and pull out a "Chuck" like fan petition and get NBC to bring it back! Fingers crossed!

With all the "reality" shows on that show ill mannered and rude behavior the one show you have that has grit and great acting you decide to cancel ?? What are the executives thinking ? I could care less about dancing dogs, singing duets, suvivors of NOTHING and how rich B$&%^S live in different parts of the world. The Kardashians stay and Kathy Bates goes ?? are you kidding me?? Since when does the world revolve around FAKE ?? Bring it back please if only for the adults who want something to watch that is entertaining !

I agree with all the other comments. We really enjoyed this show. I sick of the reality shows and the sitcoms. We need new writers in Hollywood that can write shows that actually have a plot!

I cannot believe that NBC canceled this show. I agree with others about the singing, dancing, and realty shows. My husband watches very little TV but he really liked this show. Shows like this are too few.

I had not watched anything on NBC since ER went off the air. Harry's Law brought me back to NBC and it was the only show I watched on this network, and I absolutely love it!. So guess what? I will no longer be watching anyting on NBC. Harry's Law was a great show, the plots really got you thinking about what is right and wrong in the world today. 1.6 million viewers has to be better than 0, which is what you will get!
