The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

I AM BADLY HOOKED UP WITH THAT SHOW.....SO RENEW IT FOR THE SEASON 2....."MISSING" IS WORTH WATCHING FOR! NOT WASTE OF TIME..GIVE SO MUCH INSPIRATION TO ALL THE VIEWERS...IT PORTRAYS A ROLE BEING A MOTHER AND HOW MUCH SHE WILL SACRIFICE FOR HER CHILD...EVEN GIVE UP HER CAREER BUT AT TIMES NEEDED, SHE DID WHATEVER IT TAKES FOR HER TO SAVE HER CHILD! GREAT GREAT GREAT SHOW!! NOT LOUSY ONE COMPARED TO OTHERS! :)

ABC... Are you kidding? You finally get a prime time show that right and you cancel it? Missing was interesting and powerful. Move it to a new time slot, advertise it better, but cancelling it was not a good move, I heard you also cancelled the Last Resort. Now I have no reason to turn to Chanenel 7 other than the news.

I just did a search to see when "Missing" would return and read how it has been cancelled. ABC are a bunch of morons, another network like USA or FX should pick it up. Totally disappointed Ashley Judd was fantastic and such a good story line too.
