The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.
May 11, 2012
ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

Why in the world would you end the series like that. If you decided to leave the series with Becca just finding Michael and everyone lived happily ever after, I would be some what okay with that. But, since you left it with Becca missing and blood all in her car, I have been angry about it since it went off air. And, when I heard about this, I couldn't believe myself. You guys should make some sort of page on Facebook that if we get a certain amount of likes, we will be able to save Missing for next season. Thank you.

This is an amazing show! Why would you cancel a show that is set apart from all the other network shows???? There are way worse shows that are being brought back that you couldn't pay me to watch! This was a suspenful show that my husband and I look forward to watching together! And how do you leave it with such a cliffhanger???? Missing needs to be brought back even if it's on anther night! Rethink bringing back Missing and cancel some other ridicilious show! Give the show a chance it's on at 8 noth too many ppl sit down and watch shows that early move it to another night and put it on at 9 and watch ur ratings sky rocket!!!, one of the best shows!!!!!!!!!!

This has been a fantastic and interesting action drama filmed in great locales....well worthy of keeping instead of the usual unintelligent drivel on the networks. Cancelling is a shameful exercise in keeping the usual network smaltz!

This is the only show that I watch on a weekly basis. The storyline is suspenseful enough to have you on the edge of your seat but not so gut-wrenching in it's shock factor that you have nightmares. I am so sad about this.

This is an AMAZING show. I watched it faithfully every Thursday and I am sad to see it go :( Maybe if ABC would have advertised better and took a little extra time it would have been a major hit!!! But TV now a days is so focused on STUPID reality shows!!!

Is their a petition to save this show?

No, that cannot be. It's been a while since me and my husband followed a tv series. This definitely hold our interest each week. Ashley Judd is such an amazing actress and I don't think they have given it enough time to get know and there definitely is ot enough advertisement to it. It is a HUGE mistake. And yes, cancel all those stupid reality shows and rning something that keeps the viewers entertained!!!
