The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.
May 11, 2012
ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

can't believe you canceled this show ,but want to keep all the so called reality shows and a remake of tim allens old series just different supporting actors, truly crazy, why not give the show a little time to find an audience, and if not why keep us hanging at the end.

I loved the show. never missed an episode. However the story line would have been interesting to see had it continued, with Becca now missing...
The talking heads at the top of ABC are far too inclined to go with stupid reality shows.....
you made a mistake in cancelling this show

Cant't believe this show has been cancelled. It is a very good and well-acted show. I love Ashley Judd. Very disappointed with the network. I never missed a show.

I once heard Carol Burnett say if she could have a show today would she......?.....(for those to young to remember Carol... she had a number #1 comedy show).....And she said no!..why...Because the office dont know how to let a show get going...She said her show struggled the first two years then was a top rated show for almost a decade....With the spin off of (Mama // Vicky Lawrence..And lanched Tim Conway to a household name back then...But today if it does'nt come out of the box smoking then throw it away...And thats why very few shows last even if they smoke coming out...No brain to grow a show.....Dumb CO's

How can u cancel a show like this, then air the final episode that leaves u in the air at the end. At least u could do is change the script to have some kind of conclusion to it. The network doesn't care what the happens to all the people who did watch shows like Missing, then take them off the aie without some kind of finality to them. No wonder they don't have good ratings on new shows! Who wants to get interested in a show when they can just cancel it after 10 episodes. Are they including in the ratings all they different ways people can watch these shows (ie, DVR, On Demand, internet, youtube, etc.) Just because ur not watching it live doesn't mean ur not watching it at all. Then half the year, we're watching reruns of crap that's been on for years over & over again. It makes me so angry, that I'm not interested in watching the major networks any longer!
