ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

ABC is a fool...that was some of the most intriguing plots, and superb acting we have seen in a long time. Our favorite over all the shows. Just saw the finale.....left the door open to a return.....I hope ABC sees the light. Ashley Judd and ensemble...BRAVO!!

ABC finally puts on a decent show, with a great dialogue
and great plot and character development, and it gets cancelled, but of course it seems that other shows that dont seem to have much content or are more crass stay on the air.
Could we actually get a petition going to keep missing on the air?

missing was on too early and failed to capture an audience .. should have aired at 9 or 10pm

It just seems that any show with substance where the viewer has to follow the storyline gets cancelled. It is so sad to me that shows like survivor and singing and dancing shows keep getting renewed.

Never commented on a show cancellation before, but this time it would be really nice for you to continue this show. I really look forward to it every week. What happened? It was a great show.

Well it just ended..on a cliff hanger no less. Hopefully another network will pick it up. I wish someone would have picked up Persons Unknown a few years ago..that one also ended with no real ending!

Missing is a good suspense show. It is one of my favorite shows. It seems like the good shows get cancelled and the dumb shows get to stay or another reality show comes on. We have enough reality shows. If there is a place where I can vote to keep Missing on, Please sign me up.
