The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.
May 11, 2012
ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

Husband and I very disappointed. Ashley Judd finally on a tv series and it's already cancelled! It makes no sense. It was a great show with great actors and amazing locations.

"Missing" was one of the BEST new TV series - Ashley Judd and the entire cast were amazing - every Thursday at 8pm I would sit with a tub of ice cream and watch the drama, action and suspense of this wonderful TV show. I can't believe it has been cancelled. I realize that in order to keep the series going on season after season, the character of Michael would have to reamin missing, but I'm sure the writers could have figured something out. I agree with some of the other comments - I wish another network would pick up this show for next season, the same way that CBS picked up "Medium" after it was cancelled by NBC. It will be interesting to see how this series ends, since obviously, the final episode was completed before anyone knew that the show would not be returning. I will be sitting with my spoon and my tub of ice cream to watch what happens. I am so mad at you, ABC. I am truly disappointed.

This was a great show - lots of adventure. Looked forward to it each week....if ABC doesn't want to renew --maybe FOX can pick it up.

Well, this is just grand...another really good show bites the dust. Finally a show that comes along with a great storyline and the network just can't handle it.
Networks just don't seem to get that they need to target the age group OVER the age of 49. They have this erroneous idea that if they target their advertising to the 19-49 age group, they will make money. Well, the last time I checked it wasn't that group that had any money. I for one am really ticked off with this attitude...I will vote with my clicker...away from NBC. I have simply fed up wityh not being counted.

I really liked the show, but the premise of it didn't make sense. She's looking for a son and what were they going to do after she finally found him? It did kind of beat a dead horse though and dragged. I would have liked to have found out how they finally got their son back. One more season would have been great!

I finally found a show I could get into and it's being cancelled?! Ridiculous decision! Ashley Judd is amazing in this show - as are all the other actors. I looked forward to Thursdays. I'm hoping another network will pick it up.

Really liked that show. Guess they're going to leave us with a cliffhanger! This sucks!

It was our favorite show - hope another station picks it up.
