The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

Maybe CBS will pick up Missing. They have the best shows and best network.

I was not a big tv fan and finally found a show I liked. ABC has disappointed many people. This show was great and kept you waiting for the following episode each week. Crossing my fingers a cable channel picks it up. Ashley Judd was great!

I can't believe it's being cancelled. It's become my favourite show and now it's going to be gone. Not fair!

This just STINKS!!! This show was so good - the way the story unfolded, the amazing locations, the quality of the performances...way better than much of the drivel they are showing most of the time. In a way, it sort of reminded me of my favorite show of all time - Alias with Jennifer Garner. Maybe a cable station like TNT or USA will pick this show up. It will kill me not to see resolution of the plot...

This is my very favorite show on tv, I watch a lot of series shows and I fell in love with missing right away, it's the only show I MUST watch and not TiVo, I so look forward to Thursday at 8 o'clock. I hope they at least tie up the story a little. I'm so sad it's ending.

Totally bummed. This is a really good show, and I have a feeling that the one remaining episode isn't going to have time to wrap up all the loose ends. ABC sucks! Have some integrity with your viewership and let projects play themselves out!

this is retarted, this show was amazing.. and i never missed one episode in fact i watched every episode multiple times.. before they decided to cancel this, they should have changed the time slot.. it's a new show.. why would they make it compete with bbt, or american idol, like that's so stupid, they're stupid.. have fun losing half of your viewers lol.

This is the only show I've looked forward to lately !! I absolutely loved it and all my friends were watching it too. Ahhh well.....

I could not believe it when my husband told me this show was cancelled! Every week, we looked forward to the next episode of this action-packed, stimulating series. Should have known it was too good to be true. Yes, far better to keep all those cheap, reality shows - real entertainment (sarcasm). How insulting to the actors, producers of Missing.
