The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

So what if shes using her platforms for amazing humanitarian efforts? If you are a fan of hers i recommend her book. It was life changing for me. The show was always above par. ABC is ridiculous and had it been on Nbc it would have been a touchdown. Big mistake

They must be crazy for cancelling this show!!! For the first time, in a long time, I have really enjoyed a tv series. I agree with the comments about to MUCH reality tv, get rid of that! I truly hope that this is reconsidered and they bring Missing back for another season!!!

these liberal mouth pieces will never learn. Judd has to force her political agenda when ever she can then wonders why more then half the viewing audience won't click on her show. some people learn the easy way and some learn the hard way. Even her movies are big flops.

Of course they would cancel the BEST show .... on TV right now!!! Reality TV sucks.... take THAT off the air please!!!

This was only a 10 part mini-series. You can't cancel something after it's last scheduled episode. If you read the interviews with Ashley Judd you see that she doesn't want to get into something long and drawn out - this was only written to be a 10 part series (and it turned out to be a pretty good one at that!).

I'm VERY UPSET!! I really like this show!!! I'm sick of all the reality TV. I was thinking of downgrading my cable service to save some $ and now I think I should cancel all together. There are some good shows leaving. Unforgettable, NYC22, just to name a couple. I think I'll just read...

I loved this show, what a bummer that something as good as this is cancelled. There is so much junk on TV that these stations need to get a reality check on what they are cancelling. I agree wrong night and time to be on.

Can't believe it! I wait all week for this show. I can't stand other reality shows and this drama was a winner. Love Ashley Judd and her cast. Shame on ABC for not giving "Missing" a second season to gather steam. They really cancelled a classy show. I can't wait to see what the studio idiots decide to replace it with. Sigh ...

ABC SUCKS.....missing was the only reason i watched their network...t.v. needs more shows like missing....i'm glad CBS know's good tv with PERSON OF INTEREST....

Love the show and mad that they are canceling.One thing i did not like is that it was on Thursday which has alot of top shows on that night.I think it would of done much better on any other night.
