The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.
May 11, 2012
ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

I can't believe ABC is cancelling this great show. My whole family has been hooked the whole season. We tend to watch it later, but we ALWAYS watch it.
I hope they'll be able to wrap it all up in one episode.

Shame on you ... renew fluff shows like bachelor and bachelorette, and cancel a show with values and a strong character with intrigue and mystery unfolding ... Shame on you!!

If you are going to only create a show for 1 season, then please indicate that it is a one season only show. I like the show and figured that it was going to be around for a couple of season.

Canceling another good show, and all because Neilson wants to stay in the Paleozoic era with the way they decide if people are watching their shoiws or not. Instead of sending out your Box, Neilsons, why not travk in with Dish Network, or Direct TV, or cable companies that have DVRs, and find out how many people are saving those shows to watch at later dates, and instead of worrying if people are watching the commercials or not, have companies mass product place their wares in the shows, this way the Audience doesn't get pissed when you cancel shows right out from under them, and the advertisers are still paying for advertisment. It's a win-win proposition, instead of getting people up in arms about cancelations. Also, the 1st person wrote that she is going to get her son back, we don't know this, and I would bet not, being that there was no late night talk show appearances by Judd or the other actors promoting their last show.
