I saw an interview with Ashley Judd that aired right before Missing started and she said it was only going to be a 10 episode show with no plans for additional seasons. I just took that to mean it was an extended mini series. If you think about it, there is no reason to bring it back after the final show when she finally gets her son back. It's sort of like Harper's Island on CBS a couple of years ago. It was only intended to be a one season show. I'm sure Ashley Judd will be doing some movies.

I can't believe it they cancelled missing and gcb these were great shows i'm so done with abc once these shows are off abc will not be played in my home. oh and i can't believe they kept don't trust the b in apt 23 that is such a stupid show and yes i gave it a chance watched it 3 times thinking it had to get better but nope it sucks.

Missing is a great show. There is so much suspense and it keeps you interested and makes you want more. Every time I find a good show they take it off for dum reality and game shows.Television is becoming awful. Shows like Missing, Prison Break, 24 are what people want to see not idiot, mindless shows. I can see a lot of people in the near future not watching tv anymore.I think ABC should reconsider and dump something they renewed that stinks !

This is BS. This was a really good show. Typical ABC, I think I'll boycott this station. They suck.

I've decided I am no longer watching any new shows. Everytime they hook us in they cancel and we have no answers to a proper ending. Missing was a very good show and we loved it as a family and ABC will not see us checking out anymore of their new shows.

How could they possibly wrap everything up in 1 more episode?! There are so many new twists revealed every wk! What a loss for anyone who has a brain! A cable station should take a chance on this .

Love this show, can't beleive you would not try it in another time slot instead of being the same time as a reality show. Great acting, action, scenery and storyline. Sorry to see a good show go!!!!!

It seems that a show with a strong woman as the lead character (with family value overtones,) doesn't stand a chance. I really enjoyed this show. It was well written and I loved Ashley in the action scenes, very believable. What I would expect for and ex-CIA agent who is after her sons kidnappers. I will certainly miss "Missing".

Once again, networks want instant, number one ratings! That just doesn't happen anymore. Shame on you ABC!!! "Missing," an enjoyable, intelligent show with an incredible cast ensemble, was one that we looked forward to watching every week and it's canceled to make way for what?? A mindless, moronic sit-com or better yet......another reality show? Thank god for cable.
