The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.

ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

Missing shold NOT be cancelled. Missing is the best suspense action show since "24" There needs to be a way to SAVE this show!!

Terrible mistake! Maybe we should just cancel the networks. Useless mindless reality TV. Just turn the TV's off and start reading again. Maybe the slump in ratings will wake someone up!

Missing is one of the best shows ever!!! It is at the par of 24. Just give it some time to be known and it will do great.

Another big loss to the dumbdowned useless trash of the networks. Once again...cancel tv and work a little harder at creating the entertainment that you value. OMG!!!!!!!!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED abc IS CANCELLING Missing. Only show my 16 year old daughter and I watch together.

What is this world coming to when we all we get to watch is BS reality shows (I still love Survivor though, been hooked since Richard Hatch) and sitcoms, well here was a great show with lots of potential, and what do you know it gets cancelled, go figure. Maybe CTV will keep it going because somebody needs to do something.

I truly cannot stand this. Missing is a quality show and the setting is gorgeous. The script is written intelligently and I love the actors. If I wasn't hooked on Once Upon A Time I would boycott ABC. I hate this!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is ABC is run by a bunch of idiots. This was one of the best shows on TV. I'm so tired of stupid sitcoms and reality shows with insipid plots. This show has some of the best writing i've seen in a very long time. If networks keep killing good shows like this I'm going to just stop watching TV and go back to books, at least they can't be cancelled before the finish.
