The sitcom ends after one season.
May 11, 2012
NBC has cancelled freshman comedy Are You There, Chelsea? The show, based on star Chelsea Handler's best-selling book Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea, aired 12 episodes between January 11 and March 28, 2012.
The show was brought on by the network as a companion series to other new comedy Whitney but rated a fair bit lower than its lead-in, which was just renewed today for a second season.

This show was awful, chelsea should stick to what she does best make fun of celebs and stand up, please dont go into sitcoms or movies again. great move nbc, whitney should have been cut too, but at least we got rid of one bad show

The show stunk. They made way too much effort to "clean" it up for network airing. I'll miss Ali but that's really about it since I can still catch Chelsea over on E.

So bummed, I LOVED this show! Whitney should of been cancelled before this! BOO

This show was way better than Whitney. Amazed that NBC pulls the plug on a proven sitcom entity like Laura Prepon, and keeps afloat a comedic POS like Whitney. NBC is becoming the new Fox.

NBC was starting to get good with shows like Are You There Chelsea, Whitney, and Bent. Then, they go and cancel 2/3 of their best shows, while keeping c**p like Community. No wonder they're in last place.

This show made me LMAO! But, what more might I expect given it was on NBC. I'm only shocked that Whitney managed to survive.
