The Kevin Williamson drama has been axed after one season.

The CW has cancelled The Secret Circle after one season on the air. The freshman drama was created by Kevin Williamson, who also runs the network's most popular show, The Vampire Diaries. Ratings for The Secret Circle, however, never reached that of its vampire lead-in.
Also cancelled by The CW today was Sarah Michelle Gellar's new drama Ringer. Given renewals were Nikita, Gossip Girl, and Hart of Dixie.

This is an awesome show and it sucks that we got one season of it and that's all please bring it back 3 years later we need to bring it back

Jessica Parker Kennedy is currently busy getting naked in Black Sails on Starz, so I don't think she'd be available for any Netflix revival. Just saying.

I started watching it on Netflix and finished the entire season in about 2 days. I'm crushed that there won't be a second season. Can't they cut the sucky reality shows instead? I agree with Brigette, bye bye CW. And if people are still craving the show in 2013 the what are y'all thinking? Anyway time to go buy the books. I absolutely have to know what happens (it's driving me crazy). Bya other secret circle fans (we need to bind a bring-back-S.C. circle).

Please bring back Secret Circle. I was searching for it so I could DVR it & I thought my system was on the fritz when I couldn't find it. I never imagined they would cancel this show. It was such a good show. Even if it is on a different channel, just bring the show back!

I've been waiting what seems like forever for the new season and decided to google it to find this out. I am heart broken. I was even willing to get cable to be able to watch this show. :(

Please bring back the secret circle it's a cool show my sister and I started seeing it in Netflix and its such an interesting show and now that I know there's not a season 2 thats such a disappointment really was looking forward seeing season 2 hope you guys change your mind lots of fans will love that
