The CW has cancelled The Secret Circle after one season on the air. The freshman drama was created by Kevin Williamson, who also runs the network's most popular show, The Vampire Diaries. Ratings for The Secret Circle, however, never reached that of its vampire lead-in.
Also cancelled by The CW today was Sarah Michelle Gellar's new drama Ringer. Given renewals were Nikita, Gossip Girl, and Hart of Dixie.

im a guy and im ****ing pissed i thought the show was great wtf hbo is the only channel that finnishes shows even when they suck. I was die hard entourage fan and the last 2 seasons blew but they finnished it. i found out about the secret circle this mornin n have been pissed all day these people r seriosly stupid for cacelling this show

omg dont cancel the secret circle it was good something different it should be given atleast a second chance cuz it left everybody on the edge with the season finale and if they were gona make it series finale they should have did that earlier to atleast give everybody a good closure.....

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't do it. I love the Secret Circle. It was finally a show that matched Charmed!! I am so sad. So long to you the CW. you stink!

This doesnt make any sense, the secret circle had the best ratings out of their freshman shows, it did better than Hart of Dixie, and that show got a second season.

I cant believe this ****!! Two of my favorite shows are getting cancelled while dumb ass reality tv shows stay on forever. I LOVED this show so much because I am a die hard Charmed fan and even though Secret Circle doesnt compare, I feel like they put an edgy twist onto the magic world. I feel like it is not the show its the ****ING lame, dumb ass writers that couldnt dig deep enough into their brain and think of another season. I am so sad upset and UGH I really dont want this show to end :(

This really just blows I absolutely love this show, I would make sure to be home every Thursday just to watch it..... Is my favorite show and now its cancelled now I'm sad!!!

Seriously, I am going to quit watching TV! Every show I liked this season has been cancelled. It's like they singled me out the way they pinpointed ALL my shows. Never even got the chance to get answers to major questions and season (series) finale cliffhangers due to the fact THEY ARE NEVER COMING BACK! The Secret Circle, Ringer, Missing, Awake, Pan Am, The River and Alcatraz ALL GONE!
