The rookie cop drama will not air a second season.
May 13, 2012
CBS has cancelled NYC 22 after only airing four episodes of the freshman cop drama. While the series will likely air all of its scheduled episodes through July, it will not return for the 2012-2013 season. The show joins Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, and CSI: Miami in the list of dramas that were not picked up by the network for next season.

CBS has lost it's mind, all the really good shows are being cancelled. Four episodes is not enough to make a decision on whether or not it is going to be a success. Also they are the reason the CSI:Miami ratings went down, people are not gonna stay up after the freaking football game to watch anything when they have to get up for work the next day. I can not believe that crappy shows like the Batchelor and Don't Trust the B---- are renewed when great shows like CSI Miami and NCY 22 are cancelled. What is this world coming where everyone wants to watch mindless dribble instead of really good tv.
