A&E will not continue with the action drama.

A&E has cancelled Breakout Kings after two seasons on the air. The news comes just two weeks after the show's second-season finale.
Breakout Kings, which followed U.S. Marshals working with convicted criminals to track down prison escapees, was originally passed over by the Fox Network back in 2010 and subsequently picked up by A&E after lengthy negotiations. The series ends after 23 episodes over two seasons.

This REALLY SUCKS!!! This was a great show, one of the very few on television these days, but of course the critics know it all and the fans suffer once again. Maybe the Executives with the big ass salaries ought to listen to the die hard fans instead of people who live their lives doing statistics. Here's a statistic, TV Execs and their statisticians suck ass 110% of the time.

So ticked. This was probably my favorite show. One of the only ones I don't dump to my iPhone to watch. I am so sick of this. What's next, walking dead? I'm with the whole just watch movie thing. Man this sucks. I couldn't wait till next season!

What!! Are you serious??? This season has really gotten ridiculous for cancelations. All the networks have cancelled something good. ABC with Missing, NBC with Harry's Law, CBS with CSI:Miami, and Fox with Alcatraz. Now A&E is on the sh%t list. This sucks!!

I've almost forgotten how tv used to be. I'm about to give up on tv shows. I guess I'll have to replace primetime with all the movies I haven't seen yet. Someone else commented on this site having a petition area or some info on where to send your complaints. Would they even listen to us?

I'm tired of getting invested in good shows. This was a good show and I looked forward to seeing it each week. These networks never allow a show to grow into the show it needs to be. Yet these reality shows get renewed and renewed.
Alcatraz, Breakout Kings, and many other shows I enjoyed watching.

Soooo disapointed! I'm with B...Alcatraz, Awake and Breakout Kings were 3 shows I watch religiously. I realize the reality shows are much cheaper but c'mon...let's have a few good shows out there!

I couldnt agree with you all more. I dvr series now and only watch a little since they tend to cancel any show with a level of depth. I have ceased giving the networks ratings and will stream online before even channel surfing, as i give the bloggers hits instead of more ratings on the #$%& hole "reality" programming.

This is getting ridiculous. I'm not even going to tell my husband. What a shame.
