Syfy has cancelled Sanctuary after four seasons on the air. The science fiction series, which debuted on television in 2008, ends after 59 episodes. Eight 'webisodes' were also produced for the Internet in 2007.

If the corporate folks need to cancel shows, cancel the goofy ones, ie, that stupid wrestling program, & that ghost hunting show. Get back to your core mission statement, if you have one, and that should be producing good quality sci-fi programming. Pay attention to what your fan base's comments!

i quit watching first run shows until they have a proper ending and then watch online or rental and such, i dont watch shows that do not have a conclusion, sorry thats the way we are treated so i treat them by not watching first run airing.

come on maaaaaaaaan.! sanctuarys great! dont lose your faith (nerve) now- its always darkest before the dawn. my family, and lots of friends just found the show last season! just like supernatural, we didnt find the show until fourth season!!!! momenteum builds, its not instant.

SciFi Channel was one of the only reasons I let my roommate talk me into getting satellite...now I rarely watch "SyFy" due it's long list of "gored-out" movies or dumb reality shows. Wake up people!! The public is tired of all this; bring back programs like Firefly, Eureka, Sanctuary, etc. We liked those adventuresome, but slightly off programs!

i agree. when scifi channel changed their name 2 syfy they lost it. now they canned EUREKA N SANCTUARY. come on SCIFII means SCIENCE FICTION not all this other crap. chage your name back n gives us back all the great shows that u used 2 have. not all this other crap!!!!!!!

Not just Sanctuary, but a lot of other programing for SiFi is going away to make room for stupid reality TV. I hope someone wakes up. Not just the Networks, but the people who think reality TV is actually real.

IF YOU CONTINUE THE WAY YOU ARE GOING YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR NAME FROM SYFY, TO THE SPIRITUAL OR BELIEVE IT OR NOT NETWORK!!! Sorry to Sanctuary to go, but it was losing the punch it used to have. I still miss far scape, that was true sci-fi. Now we have reality shows, which are stupid and I never watch. And....hello.....since when is wrestling sci fi, fake yes but not sci fi!!! I am ready for good alien stuff. Good thing TBS has falling skies!!!!

Sanctuary was good in the beginning but has declined over the seasons. It had a good run but its time has come. I'm sad to see it go, but go it must.
