NBC has picked up the sci-fi drama after an impressive start.
October 2, 2012
NBC announced today that it has picked up freshman series Revolution for a full season. The sci-fi adventure drama is three episodes into its first season and has pulled in strong numbers for each airing in its Monday 10:00pm time slot, so far averaging a 3.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.
“We’re impressed with the imagination and creative direction of the entire team on ‘Revolution,’ not to mention the immediately strong response we got from the audience,” said NBC Entertainment president, Jennifer Salke. “Ordering the full season of this show is a pleasure. Thanks to J.J. Abrams, Erik Kripke, Jon Favreau, and everyone at Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television for their dedication to making a truly unique series. And I personally love to escape into a world where there is no power, the phone doesn’t ring, and the pace of life slows down -- if only for one hour a week!”
New comedies Go On and The New Normal were also given full season orders today.

I found that Revolution is a very entertaining show. I will profoundly miss not seeing any more episodes. It was a poor decision at best to cancel it. Someon with a lot of money got their show in.. in place of it. .. crooks liers and thieves.. kripto..

I am so excited for the pick up. I have read all the hateful stuff being said about Revolution. This show is filmed in my town! I have lots of friends who work on the show. It is a very good show. I am ready to see more!

Everyone writing in that it is just as bad as the River and TERRA NOVA are full of s***! You need to get off the computer for a while and let your imagination flow. These shows are liked by everyone I know but they do not usually go to a website like this and voice their opinion. They would if they knew you fools do not have a clue how to just let go and get lost in the show. They are not based on fact but purely entertainment. I pity people who have no imagination. Your childhood must have sucked. Probably never read a book either because you just cannot get lost in the story line. Let go of what you know and just enjoy!

Oh yeah, this is the spitting image of "Terra Nova". Whereas that show had people in the year 2149 sent 85 million years into the past of earth in some parallel universe where they have to deal with dinosaurs and such, "Revolution" deals with the unexplained loss of all power on earth (in the present day) and centers on a small group of people trying to take down a dictatorial government. Nope, can't see a single difference between the two.
It's completely unbelievable how dumb people are to compare the two. Not that I'm surprised. "Revolution" is leagues beyond "Terra Nova" and every other show I've seen on TV in the last 20 years. Sounds like the woman who said her husband watches it because the female lead is hot is swallowing some sour grapes. It's a better, more innovative show than anything you watch, honey.

Yup... 7 episodes in and it's just Terra Nova remade. Standard network drama... 5 minutes of main storyline at the beginning of each episode. 5 minutes of main storyline at the end of each episode then 30-35 minutes of filler in between.

IF THEY DECIDE NOT TO HAVE A SEASON TWO I HOPE THEY HAVE THE DECIENCY TO GIVE IT A GOOD ENDING, LIKE TURNING ON THE POWER AGAIN. BUT KNOWING THE NETWORKS THEY DO NOT GIVE A ///// ABOUT WHAT WE WANT. mkl:
