The freshman drama will still air all 13 episodes.

The CW has cancelled its new medical drama, Emily Owens, M.D. The low-rated series, which premiered just last month, was not picked up for any additional episodes but will still air all 13 of its original order.

I also liked the show but knew it wouldn't last--way too many medical dramas on TV. Too bad, loved the cast.

Mark covered it well for me. Crap and trash TV stick around forever. Decent programming isn't even given a fair chance to garner a loyal audience before the ax falls. This is getting old and making it so I don't want to watch television at all! This show was a great show, and particularly poignant for me because I am in healthcare.

Another decent clean show gone. Too Bad none of the networks (and their advertisers) realize the audience is the older people - the 18-40s are all too "busy' to watch tv in general, much less watch a show every week. The over 40's are the ones that regularly watch tv and more importantly to the networks, they also have the $$ that the advertisers want. Funny all the Clean shows get dropped, but the trash and stupidity get renewed.

I am really really really disappointed that the network didn't give this show a chance to find it's footing. It is one of my favorites of the freshman fall 2012 season. The writing and the cast is brilliant. It has a touch of Grey's Anatomy and ER but with humor and a bit of a nod to Felicity angst. While it is a bit mature in nature for the CW, I loved it and thought it would open the door to a wider audience.

Please bring it back!!! It was developing very well! I couldn't wait for the next episode each week! It's funny and it has an interesting love story going on! Emily is like a normal everyday person and not a fictional character.

I really liked the show but I didn't expect it to last on the CW...
If I ran lifetime though I would snatch it up because I believe that's where their audience is at..
